Review of Lakewood, Colorado

Lived in Lakewood 14 years
Star Rating - 4/4/2015
Lakewood is a very nice town just east of the Foothills of the Rockies. Spring time is beautiful but a 75 degree day could easily turn into a blizzard with several inches or feet of snow! From June to October the weather is pretty dry, we do not see a lot of rain and the landscape (except for the many well maintained parks) become very crisp and brown. The winters can be pretty mild and when we do get snowfall, it's typically melted off within days. the temps are typically mild, high 30's to low 40's but don't be fooled because Jan/Feb are our coldest months with many days below zero.
