Review of Rome, Georgia

New Jersey transplant loves Rome.
Star Rating - 12/10/2017
I moved to Rome Georgia with my wife almost 30 years ago from New Jersey and raised four children in this wonderful community.
It is a beautiful place to live with a thriving populace of many cultures. There is much to do on any given weekend year round. State Mutual Stadium is home to the Rome Braves and a downtown that has great shopping and many fine restaurants. There's a thriving local theatre in the "Rome Little Theater" which puts out many quality productions. For the outdoors there's tons of trails both for biking and hiking. Three great rivers for boating and kayaking not to mention great fishing. A very caring well established medical community anchored by two sizable medical centers. Quality private and public education at the high school and elementary level is offered with superb opportunities in advanced education in Berry College, Georgia Highlands and North Georgia Technical College. A close knit wonderful community that has much to offer for everyone.

My family and I are considering a move to Rome. My question is what is considered the wrong side of the tracks and on the other hand the "Country Club" areas? I need to be somewhere in the middle of that. Thx in advance for ur help.
