The Danville "Bubble"

The local kids call it simply "The Bubble". They are referring to the sheltered, protected and somewhat insular quality of life in the Danville, CA area. From an overall quality of life perspective, it is hard to beat in terms of climate, activities, low crime, family/kids-orientation and location relative to a major metro area. The drawbacks are the housing "cost of entry" and overall Bay Area traffic. I've lived in Chicago and Denver, both great cities, but this area is second to none.
