Review of Colvil,

Not Mayberry but maybe the next town over
Star Rating - 7/7/2014
I visited my niece last week and my impression of the town was this:
Deer were poking through the bushes of their backyard and walking across the roads in town. I sipped coffee on the front porch and listened to birdsong while Mr. and Mrs. Tom turkey and the little Turkeys made their way down the hill. I also saw bald eagles flying over the forested homestead 15 miles out of town, and caught site of a coyote slinking in a meadow. The town itself closes up about 7 p.m. but the people we met were friendly and made us feel welcome. I met the former mayor during the 4th of July celebration while he was giving out ice cream cones. The town has issues like every town, but if you like a slower pace, its perfect.
