San Diegans are not nice at all!

I have forced myself to stay here for about 10 years so I have given it more than a fair shot. Yes this place has low crime, nice weather, and the beach and all that good stuff but that's it and everyone here knows it. The people here stink! They give each other dirty looks constantly and are so rude and stuck up and conservative and think they are better than everyone on the planet. This place will suck your soul dry! The weather is not worth it! I moved here for the weather and have stayed for only that reason. I hate it here and if you are someone who's not a soul-sucking robot, you will hate it here too. The cost of living is of course through the roof. All in all, I don't like it here and most people that move here end up hating it just as much as I do.

You were probably living in the wrong neighborhood for you. San Diego is a lot less conservative in North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, Hillcrest, etc.

I agree--I lived in SD for 3 years and found the people to be major a-holes. Aside from the weather, the city sucks.

Amen to that! I have lived here my whole life and as soon as I am financially able to rent that U-HAUL, I'm packing my stuff up and getting the HELL OUT OF HERE! Of course, being conservative, my parents and grandparents, with their decent houses, can't understand my dislike for SD. Well, the day after graduation, I'm driving that U-HAUL 80 MPH North on I-5 and will not looking back.
