We have lived here in North Scranton for 10yrs and love it. What more can you ask for great place a bit of everything. When people say any negative about the area it is false, there is good and bad everywhere. I look at the positives of living in North Scranton. Great food, nice parks, lots of activities for kids, nice shopping district at the Viewmont Mall 1 mile from home, and access to rt 81. We are 2 hours to NY & Philly. And don't let me forget cost of living access to great healthcare at Geisinger, and you can buy a nice home and own for 100,000. There is much more to enjoy and love just come and visit and see for yourself.
