Review of Farmington, New Mexico

The air is getting better and the city is growing
Star Rating - 10/7/2015
I personally love Farmington, NM im an architect and an architect doesn't get paid much in New Mexico but in Farmington, NM it is different because if the plans they have for the city 1: they plan to shutdown all the power plants by 2020 declared by obama so the air will be better. 2: is that the city if getting greener they are recycling more and there more of a grassland now. 3: is Farmington is the fastest growing city in America 1 out of 3 not in population but more in construction they have a 84.5% construction rate a year and it grows more and more by 2020 the city plans to be the size of Albuquerque they have the most commercial in the state and Farmington plans to have the second most commercial in the state.

Your information is flawed... 1) There are no plans to close the two coal burning power plants. They are being partially decommissioned but the will still operate. So instead of them closing by 2020 they have plans to operate well past 2040. Your facts are wrong on that. 2) Farmington is high desert. Our geography is not changing. 3) Say what you want about "construction data" but the facts on population show that the city has shrunk in population in the last 5 years. If people move away commercial won't expand.
