Reading all these comments only makes me want to move to the Austin area even more. Im a So Cali girl born and raised and now retired and ready to LEAVE California///too expensive...too many people....alot of "too much this or that" my Texas husband and I are so ready..thanks to everyone for their candid comments negative and positive. All of "y'all" can move to Cali.....Elizabeth--we would like your input on where is a good place to buy a home under $230k....in the /Austin area...hubbie and I both (shall we say) over 55 thanks!!

Hello, well..no to be a negative but when we talk bout keep it real?.. What realistic we talking bout I moved from Florida central where big city is (I can tell florida central like Orlando is fast fast and is 10 times worse than Austin. I been here since 5 months and why some ppl are unfriendly weird So sensitive And when you said hello to some ppl that are like serious and not that friendly like some local said Some ppl are friendly ...Yes but hard to make frienfship. But other omg! What the heck.... Relax ppl from austin there other states worse than this litter cowboy town babys. That when I scracht my head with my two hands And If you an weirdo...this is the place for you. I'm out ! Thanks God I got hand I keep scratch my head A lot no. Sence here Distraction And ppl that try live fast making stupid accidents Maybe kind are good but BUT no place for the REAL friendly ppl (With no offence)
