Review of Port Ludlow Washing,

"A Village in the Woods by the Bay"
Star Rating - 10/8/2007
Corny title picked by the original developer . . . a lumber company. Port Ludlow offers beauty, clean air, and a quiet community on the Olympic Peninsula of western Washington. All of the advantages of the northwest without the drawback of continual rain and overcast. Port Ludlow and much of the Peninsula is in the "rain shadow" of the Olympic Mountains. The moisture laden winds off the Pacific dump the rain on the western slopes . . . and move on by Port Ludlow, pick up moisture crossing Puget Sound and rain on Seattle.
