Review of Dorris Califor, Iowa

A nice stop....suprisingly
Star Rating - 4/27/2009
If you are traveling hwy 97 on a Friday through Sunday, make a point of stoping in at the Hospitality Dinner House for a drink or dinner. The menu isn't something to be expected in a quiet town of 800+ (sign said 1000). The prime and potato crusted salmon are the only two dishes I tried and they were absolutely fantastic.
The 200 foot flagpole and 14,000 ft MT Shasta casts a shadow over the saddle shop and down to the old hospital, which is now a bed and breakfast called "The HOSPITALity Inn."
The town is a sleepy little place with a big heart. Worth stopping for a visit.
