I moved from Chicago to the Tampa area in 2002. The city of Tampa is okay, but lots of poor neighborhoods. The burbs such as Wesley Chapel, Land O Lakes, Brandon, Lutz, carrollwood are all really great! The summers are hot but you get used to it, so much that I'm putting a sweater on at 72 degrees! The bugs and allergens can be pretty bad. I'm actually looking to move to Colorado Springs and am a little nervous because of the cold and the altitude! Going from hot and sea level, to cold and 6200 feet up!! Wish me luck & I wish you the best of luck as well.
