A beautiful smaller community set in a forest... - 9/26/2021
I'm a born and bred Californian and have lived mostly in the Northern California Sierra foothill communities ( Chico area ) with a short stint in LA for school, and then 30+ years in Silicon Valley before moving to Prescott a few months ago. Added to that is the resistance on the part of decision-makers to address the need to ensure that our existing water supply suggests that there are severe water shortages on the near horizon. With many people moving here from non-arid climates they need to realize that those things that they enjoyed elsewhere need to be abandoned; e.g., lawns, landscaping with water-demanding plants, swimming pools, Read More
