West Palm Beach is another financially friendly option located throughout South Florida boasting sizable benefits without leaving wallets feeling light. Median house values range anywhere from the mid-$200s onwards while rental costs hover around two thirds that amount respectively making it one of the more affordable options found along the sunshine state's eastern shoreline. Food & beverage goods similarly average right on par with US levels due largely to its fixed 7% sales tax rate while utilities tend to be lower than other coastal cities thanks largely to its proximity near multiple waterways throughout the region.

Palm Beach county is getting over crowded at least from point of view. High property taxes and home owners insurance (due to hurricanes) traffic is getting worse.   More

I couldn't think of a better place to live. There are so many things to do around town. Traffic in not bad, for the most part. There's a good mix of cultural diversity.  More
