Pulaski County, KY is bordered by Lake Cumberland as well as two other rivers that are popular for fishing and other recreational activities throughout the year. Coal mining has traditionally been an important industry here but there are also small businesses that locals rely on such as furniture makers, antique shops, general stores and mechanics. The county seat is Somerset which is also home to the Historic Mill Springs Battlefield Museum.
