Cimarron stands located in the Oklahoma Panhandle that it assumed shortly after statehood - 16th November 1907 - when Boise City proudly served as its county seat whilst other cities such as Keyes, Felt and Kenton are scattered across its 4 400 km² (1700 sq mi).Recent figures taken by the US Census Bureau estimates computed 2 475 inhabitants living within Cimarron's boundaries come 2019; making Cimarron one of those counties found situated amongst Oklahoma's least densely populated regions.
