Dallam County, TX is located in the northwest portion of the Panhandle region of Texas. It was formed in 1876 to serve as a center for sheep grazing operations which still survives today along with oil production being another staple industry of the county. Popular attractions include Rita Blanca Lake State Park, Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and Monzano Mountain Wildlife Management Area.
