Reagan County, TX lies on West Texas-Mexico border river and its estimated population hereabouts (2019 data) stood at 3,414 making it one of least populated counties in this region overall. Its county seat is Big Lake but other towns include Borden & Veribest giving us an ideal mixture of rural farmland & small communities that much more enjoyable to everyone living here or visiting for business or pleasure alike. Reagan County had been formed out of Tom Green & Irion Counties back in 1903 – posthumously named after John H Reagan who served as first US Postmaster General during Reconstruction period after Civil War concluded some 20 years earlier.
