A beautiful place no more... I lived in Akron all my life and was very proud of it until 2000 or so. Many people must have heard of how nice it was and rushed on in on the natives. The crime is crazy 2-5 deaths are reported daily. There are hate crimes, race, and the system seems weak. What do you do when major city crooks move into your quiet little town? A beautiful place is now just a memory.
