Anyone looking to move to San Antonio and review's Pauls comments about how wonderful San Antonio is and what an educated Hispanic he is. He too is not very smart. The facts are and can be found on the US Census data, San Antonio's average family income is $47K and Farragut which is within Knoxville has an average family income of $91K. Only 78% graduate from high school and 23% from college in San Antonio. In Farragut 96% from high school and 54% graduate from college. Well over twice the college graduates in the Knoxville area and twice the pay. What a hick town as the uneducated Hispanic stated. Well, not so hick by facts. San Antonio is made up of at least 35% of illegals which actually cannot speak english. Yes, San Antonio does have a big population increase every year, but they are illegals which you fully pay for through the University Hospital where they get free medical and come to have there babies free. If you are Hispanic, then San Antonio is the place to go and you will be very happy. But if you do not speak fluent spanish and not Hispanic, you will truly be miserable. Not all the Hispanics are mean and ignorant. There are many that are American born and educated, but it is few and far between. My husband and I had to pull our guns out at least 5 times in San Antonio to save our lives. They broke into our far northside house several times and carjacked us 2 times. Going to my car at the end of a hard workday, 3 Mexicans tried to attack me and take my Mercedes and I had to pull a gun. Yes, we are both licensed and if you move to San Antonio, you better get many guns. Take a look at just this website onlone. Crime is rated a 7 on the scale of 1 to 10 with the Nation being a 3. It is really bad crime. Our parents live in Hill Country Village which is a very nice part of town and have been robbed 4 times over the past year. They are selling and moving. You can check out the crime by going to MYSA.COM and looking up all the crime on CRIMEBASE which is listed on the left side of the website towards the middle. Also, San Antonio has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the Nation. No too educated in just birth control. It is truly a pretty city and has nice shopping, but hopefully you live to see it and can afford to pay for it after the high property taxes, utilities, car and home insurance, etc. Good Luck.
