person who blame of the change in baton rouge
- 1/15/2007
to the person who made the comment on blacks moving by tthe droves its sad to see people only see the one side of the issue people get desparate in situations first of all anytime you treat people like cattle and animals in which on historical point of view been to different worlds now just combine into one by poverty its sad to take a race people of charactor and assume majority blacks bringing problems to other city like baton rouge just plain ignorant. people make bad choice for certain reasons. not excusing the crime but heck man if you say that these people are animals put them in category out of race instead of charactor like this person made is a sad indivual my heart goes out to people where the goverment ignore people at this time of need shows that the country who spead demoracy to other places need to check how they treat their citzenz

i saw some of the comment from past people on this city here and most of what they saying is true. it is a ex mafia but they might be still there keeping a low profile. its a town just ran one of the most dangerous cities in america with a high murder raising which is true people like to live in the past of the old youngstown from the steel mill era since the lost of local gm and dephi packard people are stuck their with low wage jobs its sad to see it go down no good housing most of the city is tearing them down schools are closing every year there too most people i grew up with are gone to other places. no culture there only place is doing good is the college and of course the banks. people don't want to leave because they are afraid of something new others can't afford to go anywhere stuck in a time warp

Cincinnati, OH

i've read some of the comment son here an agreed with most of them it's the truth the ones don't see no problem with this place just been here for a short amount of time or sometimes they stay in one spot. myself i have been all over the city and the surrounding places its the same people reactions don't know don't care. once you tell people your not from here sooner or later they withdraw slowly. people think of the neighborhod as ethnic background. is the problem not always white and black. black people have the same way of thinking as the others some have good and bad no matter what part of town you live in the city you sound proper or intelligent they tend on hate on you and say you sound white its crazy here.

i've been living in cincinnati for 6 years and i am trying to find another city so i can progress with out having to up under a certain mental status that you need to get ahead by belonging to the past. i've live in northeast ohio which is in bad shape too.but when i arrive in cincinnati i saw silmar things did where i came from people in a city this large live in the past no matter what part of town you are from people tend to click with others who have this sense that where you from isn't better and really don't socalize with people unless you went to school. the race problem is slimar to every city in america, but no matter what your background is blue collar to white sooner or later your treated the same like other people from different places. in a city like this your only going to get ahead so far espacailly a small business people tend to be wary of people from other places unless your famous or got some connections here hard. it likes money but it doesn't like people. local government services are a joke they talk to you like your trash like any big city be persistant. some landlords are slumlords, if you used to people from all walks of life interacting this is not the place for you espacailly if your a person from a city that used to see different people
