6/16/2008Wow, that really set the story straight. First of all, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you need to do some research before moving anywhere. CS is a military town- there are over 4 bases, but maybe they should relocate b/c you decided to move here. You should have a job lined up no matter where you move. Second; wow, there's snow in Colorado in the winter? Ummm, have you heard of a big rock formation called the "Rocky Mtns"? CS is at the foothills, yes dear, you will have some snow (along with lots of sunshine). That's like saying, lets' move to Seattle or England, but we really hate the rain. Third; sorry to burst your bubble, but there is crime everywhere. CS is a mild town compared to others its size. I've lived in CO for 17 yrs and have never been mugged, robbed, shot at, etc. I must have some common sense.
Anyway, CS (Colorado in general) is not for everyone. If you don't like it here, you're more than welcome to move (again).
A word of advice: If you like the beach, don't move here. We don't have one.
