1/18/2010There are some rude people, true, but most of this is because they have language difficulty and what appears as rudeness is just an inability to speak English well. There certainly are some bad drivers here, but nothing compared to NY.

1/18/2010It's not scary if you're a patient person. Most people are communicative and the vast, vast majority speak English. Some older people who are minorities (Korean, Armenian) have trouble with the language. I don't know what street you were walking on, but I've lived here a dozen years and haven't had this problem.
