Housing is outrageous but there are tons of things -
7/17/2007The prices for houses to buy is ridiculous. If you actually have the money to afford houses around here good for you but most decent houses are going to run you over $300k. If you are renting you are looking at paying at least $1200 and that is a minimum two bedroom in a decent neighborhood. One good things I can say about this area you are in the middle of great things to do. You can easily go to the beach, back bay waters, mountains, camping, D.C area, Eastern Shore, White Water Rafting, Philly, or Even New York. Its a great area if you like to get out and do things. Yes, there is alot of military but if you move here, you knew that before you moved here and there is alot of historic sites you can always visit. I have enjoyed my stay here. Good luck

Has Grown up alot -
7/17/2007I have not lived in Georgia for over 10 yrs but I am amazed every time I go back to Mcdonough. Somewhere that use to be one red light is now a full community with every department store. So you can still be near everything and you can still get out to the country.
