Beautiful place to live hard to find a room -
10/14/2013San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas are beautiful, great weather, beaches, farms markets, a downtown area full of some of the best bars and restaurants, wine country, great bike paths, hiking, very safe, some traffic not too bad compared to bigger cities in California. The food is a bit pricey, but you can find reasonable buys. It seems like the closer you to the Cal Poly the more you are competing with the students with jobs and a place to live. If your not a current student it's very hard to find reasonable housing in San Luis Obispo. If you have a pet it's even harder. You can find housing in the nearby communities. but it's still a challenge. If you can pay $1400 for a 1 bedroom, your good. But if you can't. good luck in the hunt.
