Hateful Town -
8/13/2010Think before coming here. I am Asian and I had a restaurant in town. Some of our ex-employees one night went to the restaurant and spray painted Asian racial slurs, like gook, dog eater, punk ass chink.
This town is literally 100 years behind in time. They are a bunch of uneducated red neck hill billies. Only move here if you want to snort Meth everyday and listen to Billy Ray Cyrus.

Slow pace living -
11/26/2009I moved here thinking I was moving to the sticks, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice place to live. I am a minority and the area is mostly Caucasian populated. At first I was worried that I would not fit in but most have treated me fairly, even though I initially walked around with a chip on my shoulders.
The schools are excellent and the economy hasn't been hit too hard by the current financial collapse. There is plenty of outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, and snow activities. The air is great and the landscape is nice to look at.
The only negative thing I come up with is that there are not many big retail companies.
