9/30/2011yes, i agree 200 percent! it's no wonder they pride themselves here on a cartoon parody like "family guy." the natives here love that show, it's a very real representation of just how people are. Rude, selfish, obnoxious, smug, superficially and artificially believing in their supposed superiority. i believe that the bumber sticker "mean people suck" was probably created by a visitor to the city who was forever turned off by this place! it's incredibly frustrating to have to live in an area filled with what is termed "MASSH*LES"

9/29/2011thank you! I feel utterly lost in mass. Being a New Orleans native, I'm accustomed to that Southern hospitality, and, boy do I miss it. I treat people with courtesy and always respect their emotions, however, can you believe that I not have one single friend since moving to a town near the cape a year ago. Daily, I'm challenged by their blatant disregard for others and outright nastiness!! It's so doggone unnearving and disheartening. Goodness!!
