10/24/2006i lived in worcester for two years. it's really dirty and if you don't like to drink and dance you will find hardly anything to do here. i grew up right outside of boston and prefer boston much more. however, if you live right outside of worcester in the towns of leister and spencer, you will have a much better time. it's a lot cleaner and safer. some of our dorms on fruit street were broken into and homeless men climbed in the windows...horrible.

10/24/2006portsmouth is really fun. my husband and i moved here over the summer and we love going downtown. there's a lot of cool indie stores and the restaurants are great. outside of downtown though, it's farmy and boring. i'm originally from mass so i like things a little more fast paced. there's a lot of backward people up here that look like they're stuck in the 80's or 90's still, which really bothers me. a little too hickish for me, i am looking forward to moving back home to southern new england and into the 21st century.
