crime rate is over triple what Sterling claims -
12/14/2014IT really is crazy...every one of the crime rates listed for Binghamton is about 1/3 of what the ACTUAL crime rate in Binghamton is. I don't know if Sterling is using data from 20 years ago, but it certainly is not from the last 10 years

12/14/2014I'm not sure what you mean by "good" considering it is higher than the state and national average. And for violent crime, only 5% of cities in the entire country have a higher crime rate than Binghamton. That doesn't seem "good" to me. The ONLY category of crime that is lower in Binghamton is vehicle theft, because more and more people are moving here with no cars.
