Moses Lake, WA
Great town, friendly people and lots to do. -
9/10/2011I have lived in Moses Lake with my wife and kids since 2004. We did not like the town at first but as we discoverd the area more we fell in love with this town.
First you are in a nice climate with lots of bodies of water to play in. Moses Lake has 30 parks and only 20,000 people. The parks are a great place to gather and have fun. The water park is top notch and is typicaly not so crowded that you have any types of long waits.
The town is lacking in shopping and while the restaurants that are in town are good there is not a lot of diversity.
That being said, you are 75 minutes from Spokane, 80 minutes from Tri-Cities 2.15hours from downtown Seattle, 70 minutes to Wenatchee and a few miles past Wenatchee is Leavenworth.
There is a lot to do and explore in this area but if you are looking for more of a night life atmosphere this is not the place to be.
