High violent crime rate, traffic, hot, and low pay -
11/18/2017We lived in Atlanta for 3 years before moving due to one of the highest violent crime rates in the country. A friend got shot and killed at an ATM machine while taking out $40. We did not feel safe going out after dark. The violent crime rate was 92 out of 100 with non violent almost as bad. Our home got broken into first year and patio furniture was stolen one week after moving in. Our yard was fenced so had to pad lock it after the theft. It took the police 4 hours to come out after our break in due to the amount of calls. It this was not enough the summers are 6 month long of hot humid weather and traffic bad with people driving like animals. Lucky we moved to an all white golf gated community in Florida and can sleep well with our windows open at night.

I am guessing you lived in another city named Nashua. I lived in that City for 5 years and then had to move to FL for my job. I am finally able to move back and can not wait. We never worried about locking our door like in FL for Nashua has one of the lowest crime rates in America. Also, the nicest people you would ever meet. The summers were mild unlike Florida and great colors in the fall. It is true that you get 5 months of cold weather with snow during 3 of them but I miss the snow living in FL for the past 10 years. I am as happy moving back to Nashua as you may have been moving out.
