Climate - 2/7/2010
The most positive thing about this area is the climate. I find it to be enjoyable most of the time with a great deal of sun to keep you in a positive mood. There are periods of rain which sometimes can be heavy to a flood stage but these periods are sparse and can be dealt with by staying home or by being extra careful in your travels outdoors. It is funny as it can rain in one neighborhood while a few blocks away, in another neighborhood, it will be completely dry. North Las Vegas and Las Vegas proper is in a valley much like Phoenix and will at times have smog without the benefit of a breeze to blow it out. As everywhere else, there are pros and cons of climate here and you learn to live with the cons and emphazise the SUN!!!
