I'm originally from Kokomo, Indiana. My husband retired approx nine years ago and we wanted to move some place with a reasonably tolerable climate and cheaper cost of living. I'm a nurse, we have a small seventy acre farm, and we raise cattle. It's a very different lifestyle from the one we had in Indiana, but we enjoy it.

Arkansas - A Home Away From Home! - 1/8/2010
I have found Hot Springs, Arkansas to be a wonderful place to live. It's not only very beautiful, but the crime rate is very low. Another thing that is low is the cost of living! And, it's only a forty-five min drive to Little Rock. There's many nice, friendly people and if you love to fish and hike, then Hot Springs is the place to be!
