Great Place to Call Home. -
11/17/2008I live in West Houston, in the Katy Area. I am from NYC. Lived in Chicago, LA and Miami. So, yes I love to live in big major cities. People who post negative comments about Houston are usually folks who don't like big cities, or who expect everything to be perfect. Which we all know can't exist in ANY large mid to large size city. Overall, Houston is a great city to work and live in. The Katy area is a great suburb to live in. Interstate 10 cuts right in the middle of the Katy area, making easy to get around the metro area. The homes are mostly on the new side, and are located within master planned communites. Shopping is great. Plenty of places to eat. And Houston and all it's entertainment is just minutes away. The Katy school district is among the best in the state. Overall great place to call home.
