I am a native of Bridgeport, CT-born & raised, recently located to Seymour, CT.
Bridgeport,CT has a high crime rate, it's very costly to live there, and has an awful education system. Seymour has almost a non-existent crime rate, and is slightly cheaper with an excellent school system, but let's face it:Connecticut is an expensive state to reside in.
My family and I are seriously considering moving down to Georgia-not only because it'll be cheaper and the homes are so cheap down there it's almost unheard of, but also because I'm so sick & tired of New England Winters.
There are more cold days here than there are warm. But over all, Georgia is a beautiful state that would be more affordable for my family than Connecticut.
