When you called Cherry Creek a suburb I laughed. This post is a joke. Denver does not have a ghetto. Denver is a big city so it is going to have a decent homeless population. Even so it is nothing like what you described. Most neighborhoods around downtown are very nice. Congress Park and Wash Park are some of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. Furthermore never once did you mention Five Points, Northeast Parkhill, or Montbello which are widely regarded as the city's roughest areas.
