overhyped - 8/15/2015
I do not understand why Fallbrook real estate is so overpriced - there are not a lot of high paying job opportunities like you find in other parts of San Diego County. Statistically the schools are mediocre and it appears there is a higher than average number of adults with varying mental disorders, along with crime, drugs and gangs. The proximity of Camp Pendleton bings some revenue into the area but the majority of the soldiers and civilians employees do not earn enough money to be able to afford a home in the area or contribute to the community in other meaningful ways. There appears to be a lot of pollution in the area and a higher than average rate of certain forms of cancer and other forms of illness.

There are other areas in California that have more to offer.
