5/28/2011Your post is recent so I am wondering if there is still commuter traffic on the 4? I can't decide if living in Brentwood or Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek is a better idea...when my job will be in Brentwood? Any insight would help cause I don't have anyone up in the area to get their advice from etc...thanks!

re: The changing of a smaill town. - 8/18/2005 -
5/28/2011I am wondering about the commuter traffic. I could live in either Brentwood or maybe Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill. My job (maybe) will be in Brentwood, so I am wondering if it is a nice place for (young/single) people to live, or if I am better off living in another nearby town and commuting in to Brentwood? I guess I am wondering if the commuter traffic is bad both going East into Brentwood and West, or is it bad just going away from Brentwood (west?). I am from a very small town originally but I have been living in San Diego for the past 7 years, so I am not sure what area/town is best for me to try living in up there while I have this job? Please give me any advice/recommendations as I don't know anyone up in the area to help me out! Thanks!

Great Place to Live -
5/28/2011La Mesa is wonderful, not too overprice, considering you are a little farther east than the actual city of San Diego, but still super close to a lot of attractions in the area including the beach, Zoo, Seaworld, Wild Animal Park, LA, Legoland, PB scene for going out with friends, a nice small downtown with a lot to do at night and choices for eating, international airport. Any and everything you could possible want in a place can be found within 8 miles of La Mesa. Good choice to live if you are in the area!
