my husband and i are seriously considering moving to athens, ga. however most of the literature i have read describes athens as either a college town with lots of wild singles 18-25 OR a great place to retire 65+. our kids are 5, 3, and 1. we are a "reg" family. we are not party animals, we dont go clubbing. we enjoy a lot of family activities, movies, eating out, cultural events and of the sort. i am a stay at home mom and would like to go to a place where i would find other stay at home mothers. please write to me if the culture in athens is family oriented or more wild party type. i would like to hear from anyone who lives or has visited athens. thanks.
