4/16/2008I have visited San Antonio many times. I lived in Dallas 15 years. I grew up in Tennessee. From my experience Texans are less racist than Tennesseans. I have seen more diversity of cultures in Texas. I have found San Antonio to be as safe as any other city in the US. Having lived in a big city I know when and where not to be during certains hours of the day (night). One must be aware of crime areas in any city, large or small.

Small Town Mentality -
10/29/2007I moved to Fort Collins based on comments from friends who had been living here several years. I am disappointed in how this town does not plan for street repair and bringing in economy but rather on open land purchases. It is nice to have walking trails near my house and the country side close by but the number of people living in this area has outgrown the city planning. I can use any number of trails or parks in the nearby state and national parks. I think the city should have spent money more wisely. The overall plan for a city with lots of parks is a nice idea but the town is not growing with the population but rather staying stagnat. The people who are native to Fort Collins are not as friendly as you would expect. Many are prejudiced against the Hispanic population. There is very little diversity even with the college. I don't plan on living here much longer.
