Try Monterey, the weather is like fall throughout a lot of the year, the people are friendly, very small town-like, and its not as expensive as most people think. The population of Monterey is like 30,000 but it feels smaller. I moved their from yc for work for 5 years. It was the best place I have ever lived, and i have lived up and down califrni, from the bay area to the central valley.
The cost to live in this area is ridiculous Posted On: 5/30/2008 11:50:14 AM
I can't believe people are willing to pay as much as they do to live here. I know there are jobs here, but people's lack of reality is mindblowing. I thnk people really need to re evaluate their thought process and go back to aspiring to being able to pay off a house and live for free in their older years.
