3/25/2006I have lived in Green Bay for 9+ years, and as for the climate: If you aren't from the upper midwest, of course you're going to think the weather's horrible. I'm originally from Minnesota, and don't think there's anything different about the weather here. You have to be used to hot humid summers and long cold winters. As for the water/air quality--I quit noticing it after living here a couple of years. If you live outside of the Green Bay utility area, you are going to have bad water. As for the people-you can have fun, but it's real hick and families have lived here for generations and NEVER leave! Many people have rarely ever left the state, and that's the cause for a lot of the closed-mindedness. It would be a nice place to have a family, but other than that, you would be better off in Madison or Milwaukee. And the only thing to do is get drunk, and people here don't seem to realize there is more to life.
