4/7/2015WOW! You have some strong opinions, but most of them are simply opinions...not facts. I think that most areas of Tucson have nowhere near the level of crime you describe. I do not hesitate to walk through most areas at night without a gun and without fear. A couple months of the summer are very hot, but that just means you get your "stuff" done early and then go to Mt Lemmon (or A mountain or Saurita) where them temperature is a beautiful 80 degrees. And I did not graduate from the U of A, but I have become a diehard fan because the fan support is so great! Go out to a tailgate party and tell me it is not infectious. Just try to be a little more positive and maybe you could once again love this town. There is much more to like than you give it credit for.

4/7/2015Ummm... We are very middle income, live with neighbors who are firemen, clergymen, retired and enlisted military and I have NEVER seen homeless anywhere near (like within 10 miles) of our neighborhood. There are poor sections of town (and almost every town has those...ironically near the airport) and obviously you can't look past those areas. I would bet that most of the road rage instigators and angry people have the same inability as you (and I think YOU are one of those disengaged, disconnected folks...you really need to look elsewhere and leave).

4/7/2015I think that you're still a little harsh on this city, but at least you're honest and considering both sides of the coin. Most areas in North and far East Tucson are very nice.

4/7/2015Thank you for at least providing some positives. I see too many all negative reviews on here and some people really like Tucson for exactly the reason you point out...it is beautiful. But then you got sarcastic and ruined it. Honestly, the traffic/lack of freeways sucks. But, there is a lot of nightlife here if you know where to look.

4/7/2015Agree... Actually, I think crime seems high because police do their jobs in Tucson. More arrests = higher crime rate. I've lived in a few places (San Antonio) where people didn't even bother calling the police if they found their house broken into.
