New Restaurants -
10/14/2008Until recently the people of Thorndale had to travel at least 13 miles to go out to eat. Rico's, a Mexican food restaurant opened about 2 months ago and it has great food at reasonable prices. The dining area is not fancy, and it may even qualify for the "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" show but you won't be disappointed in the quality of the service or food.
We also now have a Downtown Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor. The 2 new business are located downtown in the old Forbes building. It has been renovated and now is home to these business. The food and service here is also outstanding. We enjoy sitting out at the sidewalk tables after dinner, while enjoying some Blue Bell hand-dipped icecream, and visiting with other local townspeople.
It's really worth the time and gas to visit these Thorndale businesses.
