5/15/2016If you liked visiting, you would love living here. It is a great place to live. I've always said Fairbanks was a 'terrible place to visit, but a great place to live' (some people don't get the place) but you may be ahead of the game. Live in the hills around town, where there are warmer winter temperatures, nice views and trails all around. Fairbanks is a close knit community, but people are totally free to be who they are and live their own lives. There is no societal expectation of how you might live (many choose dry cabins without plumbing, and live high quality lives in them). Anyway, if it's of interest then you should move to Fairbanks for the huge skies, endless, uninhabiited hills, and aurora shows.
