Not So Great!! -
1/14/2017I moved here a year ago, and was shocked to see so many homeless begging on street corners just like in Portland... sad!
I grew up in Eugene/Springfield so Florence was a place to play, and have fun with family, and friends. Back then there were no homeless people here...now they are everywhere. I just wasn't expecting the decline in the area.
I also feel that folks in Florence are not all that friendly. So, unless you have money, and already know people here....this isn't the place I would move to again. I mean....might as well live in a larger city with more shopping, and less cost if this is what it is like in small town Oregon!!!
