Boom town gone bust -
10/6/2011Now that this Nevada desert boom town has long gone bust, those who can afford to leave by realizing an incredibly depleted equity in property values are packing up and moving elsewhere. In a city that has always been geared towards the geriatric community, the young and restless, and familes alike are discriminated against. Those who are a member of a minority group, whether it be of race or political views of anything other than extreme right-wing, will be targeted by the local justice. With all but two casinos shut down, and with hundreds of vacant and unfinished homes remaining, there is little to offer in this miserable desert valley.
