11/19/2007I currently live in San Diego, and am looking to leave for many of the same reasons of comments I find on this site. High cost of living, housing, drugs, etc... However, I have to laugh. I see so many complaints about how the cost of houses are so high in Medford and how insanely high $300,000/house is, or how expensive it is to live there. LOL.. Try living in San Diego a month.. Just one month... At an average house price of $750,000, Apartments at minimum of $1500/mo., fast paced environment, population of 2,000,000, and a tax rate of 8% . I will take a median $300,000, and a pop. of 25,000 any day.
