Too religious for me - 1/4/2010
I find the citizens here are not open minded about other religions other than Protestant/ Christianity. I also find they expect everyone to be their religion. When I first moved to this county even the grocery clerks would ask what church I go to; and the County Administration building posted the Ten Commandments in their lobby for all to see. I feel this is disrespectful to others that are not of the same belief. It is nothing for a school in this area (county next to Cherokee) to pass out the New Testament to students as they walk in the door. My religion is personal and I choose not to discuss my beliefs so openly.
