6/21/2012Ideal small town on Lake Chatuge in North Georgia Resort Adventure Area. Spectacular views of Brasstown Bald, numerous balds and ridgelines. Home to hiking, fishing, premiere golf, and plenty of other outdoor activities. Anchor for Young Harris College, a 4-year accredited liberal arts college, Young Harris also has a thriving senior community. There is no shortage of places of worship as its residents are family-focused and faith-oriented. Young Harris boasts a modern library, several restaurants, arts and crafts, and miles of walking trails.
