We have lived in Knoxville area for the past 7 years.It is a very laid back city ,home of UT ,great for people who like the slower pace of life.
Lacks diversity ,not many things to do but feels safe being here.
Weather is not too extreme .Beautiful mountains and lakes.
Unfortunately not enough job openings to make the leaving here permanent.
